Sarah Eales - Freelance Violinist


Sarah Eales - Violinist Freelance Professional Sarah is a busy freelance violinist based near Bristol, and has worked across the UK since leaving the RWCMD in 2003. She is an extra player for the English Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Swan, and has performed regularly with the Britten-Pears Orchestra at the Aldeburgh Festival and Snape Proms under the baton of many of the UK's leading conductors. Sarah is a member of the Jersey Symphony Orchestra which performs three concerts each year in St Helier, Jersey, and has recently performed as 2nd Violin Soloist with the Arion Orchestra for a performance of a Vivaldi Concerto Grosso in St James, Piccadilly. In October 2008 Sarah will be performing Vaughan-Williams' Violin Sonata in A Minor in a lunchtime concert for the Calne Festival of Music in Wiltshire.

Sarah also works for various Theatre and Opera performances, including Midland Music Makers Opera, Barber Opera, Brecknock Little Theatre, and Britten-Pears Opera. Sarah is much in demand as a chamber musician, and is a founder member of both the Ardeton Ensemble and the Ardeton String Quartet, which you can read about here.
